Elizabeth Pearce’s dynamic, interactive cocktail presentation tells the story of New Orleans through some of its most iconic drinks. Join drinks historian Elizabeth Pearce as she regales you with tales of rum, rebellion, whiskey, Prohibition and more. During the hour and a half interactive presentation you will make and taste three libations and hear how the city transformed from a swampy backwater to Jewel of the South, one drink at a time.

Biography

Drinks Historian Elizabeth Pearce is founder of the company Drink & Learn which offers tours and presentations, telling the story of the United States through iconic beverages.  Pearce is the host of the Drink & Learn podcast, the author of the book Drink Dat New Orleans: A Guide to the Best Cocktail Bars, Dives, & Speakeasies, the co-author of The French Quarter Drinking Companion, and the Education Specialist for the Sazerac Liquor Company. She likes her desk messy and  her whiskey neat.
