IMPORTANT SMA CONFERENCE CHANGE INFORMATION
Due to construction at our contracted hotel, we had to change our location for next month’s conference. The new hotel is a sister location to the original hotel and located just a few properties away from the original hotel. The NEW hotel location is Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista, located at 1751 Hotel Plaza Blvd, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830 (See attached Photos). This location is actually closer to Disney Springs, with a pedestrian crossing bridge in the corner of the property rather than down the road from the hotel. All the same COVID protocols will remain at this new location. Anyone that made reservations under the SMA room block at the old location site (Hilton Orlando Buena Vista PALACE), you do NOT need to make any changes to your reservation. Hilton will be transferring your reservation and sending you a new confirmation email. As a result of the change, they are providing us with a room rate discount of $10 per night, taking the room block rate to $185/night. PLEASE NOTE: The OPTIONAL Resort fee of $20 plus 12.5% tax is still in place for the new location. If you DO NOT want these amenities, then you MUST opt out upon check in to the Hotel. If you did not book within the SMA room block, then you will need to change your reservation. We have added a few rooms to the room block for those individuals that have yet to make your reservation, or those that were outside of the room block. As always, these are on a first-come-first-serve basis. It is important that you book within the room block so SMA gets credit for your stay. By guaranteeing a specific number of conference participants in the room block, we are able to use the conference breakout rooms without additional charge. If that room block is not met, then SMA is required to pay the difference between the number guaranteed and the number actually booked. Your support of the room block allows us to provide more services to you as members rather than having to pay additional money to the hotel.
Please be aware that to enter any of the four Disney theme parks, Disney currently requires guests to purchase tickets AND to make reservations for each park you would like to visit during your stay. To make reservations, you must first purchase tickets, which can be done here: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/admission/.

Tickets can be purchased at the hotel for a $5 discount for those paying the resort fee, but due to required reservations, please keep in mind that there is no guarantee of availability at that time.
Entrance to Disney Springs (Disney's retail, dining, and entertainment complex) is free and reservations are not required to enter.
