All papers authored solely by doctoral students will be automatically entered into the Doctoral Student Best Research Competition. Winners will receive cash awards. 

In order to be considered, doctoral students must do the following:

• Only original papers are eligible to be entered. Presentations and panels are not eligible.
• All author(s) must be current doctoral students.
• Author(s) should submit original paper to any of the track chairs listed in the Call for Papers.
• In your email to the track chair, please make sure to clearly note that the paper was authored solely by doctoral student(s).
• The track chair will then send the best doctoral student paper in the track to be considered for the Doctoral Student Best Research Competition Award.
• Do NOT send your original submission directly to chair of the Doctoral Student Research Competition.
